IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR OUR CUSTOMERSPlease read all of this information carefully. We accept orders from this website with the understanding that our customer is aware of all of the following. PaymentPayment for orders must be arranged prior to shipping. Accepted forms of payment for all orders are:
- VISA or MasterCard or American Express (AMEX).
- Bank or Postal money order.
We charge a flat shipping fee which includes processing, packing and actual shipping of your order. We will endeavour to ship your order within 24 hours of receipt. Pricing & Sales TaxesAll prices are shown in Canadian dollars; they do not include British Columbia Provincial Sales Tax (PST=7%) or Goods & Services Tax (GST=5%) or Harmonized Sales Tax (HST=15%). Prices are subject to change without notice. Out-of-country customers do not pay any of these taxes. All Canadian customers pay GST or HST. Shipping charges are subject to GST (5%) or HST (15%). Shipping charges to all Canadian destinations (including Reservations) are subject to GST. Out-of-country customers pay GST on shipping charges less than $5.00 Canadian. Back OrdersItems on your order not currently in stock will be back ordered with notification. If you use your credit card for payment, you will only be billed for what is shipped. When back ordered items are available, you will receive notification when the item is
back in stock. We shall ask at that time if you still want the back ordered items
shipped to you. If yes, you shall be billed at that time for the items shipped. If paying by money order, the back ordered items will be shipped when back in stock. Shipping PoliciesOrders will be sent via Canada Post Expedited Parcel service unless you specify another carrier. Our policy is to insure all shipments and, for Canada Post, to require a signature. We will complete the required customs documents when shipping your order outside Canada, however, delays caused by Customs are outside our control. There may be duties, tariffs, excise taxes or customs charges required to be paid by you when receiving your parcel. We will not ship COD outside of Canada. If you are paying by credit card, shipment must be to the address that the credit card is registered to. Return Policies- Goods Damaged in Transit
- All merchandise is carefully checked at the time of shipping. Damaged goods claims must be made to the carrier AT ONCE. We cannot accept any claims for damage in transit.
- If any item does not meet your satisfaction, please return it to Gatland Design for full refund in accordance with the guidelines below.
- We will accept goods for return within 30 days from the date of shipping.
- Ensure that your returning goods are packed in a sturdy container.
- Items must be in their original packaging.
- If payment was made by credit card your account will be credited with the amount of the returned goods. If payment was received via money order, you will receive a cheque in the amount of the return.
