About the Artist
Nancy Gatland
Nancy’s interest in Precious Metal Clay began early in 2003 when she discovered the endless possibilities of this fabulous medium.
Her artistic life started at a young age where she was always encouraged to create and study various arts. She has used various media including canvas painting, sketching, photography, drafting design, silk dying, batik, stained glass, graphic design and her newest passion—jewellery design.
She creates her pieces using inspiration from simplicity, searching out possibilities or small details from the most unlikely resources. She loves incorporating her sense of style, humour and relaxed attitude to every piece she creates.
